CARING FOR MYSELF
On November 4th, Novo Nordisk Chile employees organized several activities at Colegio Pablo Apóstol, located in Santiago. These activities were focused on 3th and 8th primary courses with an attendance of 80 children, teachers and sport trainers. As a result of the activities and parent suggestions it was implemented a school booth with healthy food.
Children between 8 - 9 years from 3th primary grade attend to an interactive class on healthy lifestyle based on a DVD called “No seas pastel atina con la vida sana” developed by Dra. Mónica Weinberger. Also it was organized a drawing game on “Healthy Care”.
Young people between 13 - 14 years old from 8th primary grade were teached on preventing Diabetes. They also were teached on understanding nutritional information of food labels and healthy eating habits. All the activities were based on games and competitions.
